The pioneering and comicly inventive hit sketch comedy series, 'Australia You’re Standing In It', heralded an explosion of Australian TV sketch and stand-up comedy and, for the first time, made comic stars of women.
Regular characters 'Tim and Debbie', 'The Dodgey Brothers', 'Bruce Rump' and more became national icons. ('The Dodgey Brothers' made it into The Macquarie Dictionary where they reside still.)
Featuring Mary Kenneally OAM, Evelyn Krepe, Sue Ingleton, Geoff Brooks, Stephen Blackburn, Peter Brown, Tim Roberston and Rod Quantock OAM, Series One aired in 1983 and Series Two aired the following year.
The 2-DVD boxed set contains all 15 half-hour episodes.
